Php and SSL

Postby sljm » 31. December 2007 00:27

Hi i was using Php to write some programs using Google's Calendar API and i ran into this error

Code: Select all
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Zend_Gdata_App_HttpException' with message 'Unable to Connect to ssl://www.google.com:443. Error #37434112: Unable to find the socket transport "ssl" - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?' in I:\xampp\htdocs\Gcalendar\Zend\Gdata\AuthSub.php:114 Stack trace: #0 I:\xampp\htdocs\Gcalendar\loggedin.php(18): Zend_Gdata_AuthSub::getAuthSubSessionToken('CL3B6_O_CBDM6bp...') #1 {main} thrown in I:\xampp\htdocs\Gcalendar\Zend\Gdata\AuthSub.php on line 114

I assume it was SSL not being enabled in PHP.ini and i went in and uncomment the line.

Code: Select all
extension=php_openssl.dll

It still didn't work same error, is there anything else i need to do?

I assume it was SSL not being enabled in PHP.ini and i went in and uncomment the line.

Which php.ini file did you edit?

The correct file can be found by running the phpinfo.php file from:
http://localhost/xampp/phpinfo.php

The file to edit is usually xampp\apache\bin\php.ini
