MySQL startup issue
Posted: 27. December 2007 19:50I have had multiple XAMPP installations, and now I have removed the old ones to create a new one.
However this time MySQL fails to function, the service appears to start correctly but the status on the XAMPP control panel is deactivated. I switched to PHP 4 and now MySQL runs, any ideas?
I had read that it may have been an issue with previous installations, what is recommended to make a clean wipe of all old installs?
