I just finished downloading and installing XAMPP in ubuntu edgy but

1) I get this error in my PMA:

it's driving me crazy because i want to continue my php project... and well i tried to serach in the forum but there so many topics...

Try posting in the Linux forum as this is XAMPP for Windows Forum - better chance of an informed reply there.
