Maybe a silly question but I am trying to find out how to install / compile SWFTOOLS (http://www.swftools.org/faq.html) on XAMPP but I do not understand how to do that. The FAQ for SWFTOOLS says for unix:

Download swftools-0.x.x.tar.gz. Then type, on the
command-line:
tar -zvxf swftools-0.x.x.tar
cd swftools-0.x.x
./configure
make
make install
(you will have to be root for the last step)
But how do I proceed for XAMPP?
