Apache Friends Support Forum

I read that the Apache server can be configure to be a proxy server, is there a tutorial somewhere on how to set it up? I only found linux/unix instructions, but I'm using the Windows of Apache version that came with Xampp. Are there xampp/windows instructions somewhere to setup the proxy server?
