Can not open PHP index page

Hi,
I have just installed xampp on windows server and all works fine and i have also installed wordpress and i can view the site on localhost.

However when i try to access from the internet, i cant open the site.

The site was installed in the deafult folder loaction.

I can open http://domainname/index.html
I can open http://domainname/xampp/
but i can not open http://domainname (index.php)

I have checked the windows host file and ports are open on my router.
I have even tried to force apache to listen on: external ip address:80 in the htpd.con file but that still will not work.

Are there any more suggestions as to why this is not working?

- You have changed anything in "httpd.conf"?
- "error.log"?
- "access.log"?

Only the directory Syntax to allow all conections, but it was not working prior to this.

I can't really understand this error, because you have posted:

I can open http://domainname/xampp/

And that's exactly the path for this uri.

Maybe a good idea to first look into the log and then post here...

Thats all good and fine, but what am i looking for?
Would it be easier if i attached a copy of the file?
