LDAP problem - HELP!

Postby rullbandspelare » 13. September 2007 08:50

I have this problem to get authentication to work with LDAP via .htaccess in a /ldap folder on the server.
It is unencrypted anonymous bind.
I can browse the LDAP with an external browser like "Softerra LDAP Browser 2.6" without any problems.
Please help me to understand what:
"auth_ldap authenticate: user user001 authentication failed; URI /ldap [ldap_search_ext_s() for user failed][\xc5tg\xe4rdsfel]"
means. ([\xc5tg\xe4rdsfel]="åtgärdsfel" almost equals "execution error"
There is a uid=user001 in the LDAP tree and i am supplying the correct password.

This is my .htaccess:
AuthName "Password required"
AuthType Basic
AuthBasicAuthoritative on
AuthBasicProvider ldap
AUthldapURL ldap://kat.lul.se/O=KAT,c=se?uid
authldapgroupattributeisDN off
require valid-user

And this is the error.log:
[Wed Sep 12 18:00:25 2007] [debug] mod_authnz_ldap.c(870): [5900] auth_ldap url parse: `ldap://kat.lul.se/O=KAT,c=se?uid'
