Windows Vista and Xampp is so slowly

Hi together,

XAMPP is running on three of my PC's. With the two oldest and slowest (both Windows XP) I have no problems with speed, but on my
new Laptop with Windows Vista Business, XAMPP is extremely slowly.

For example:

It takes 22 Seconds to start the Status-Link (http://localhost/xampp/status.php) or 12 Secons to start PhpMyAdmin (http://localhost/phpmyadmin/).

My system runs with 10 % CPU and 30 % RAM, so it shouldn't be a problem. If I ping localhost the maximum is 1ms.


I installed it in c:\xampp.

Moreover Zonealarm and Antivir is on the system.


I hope someone can help me, because I thought I can develop on my new notebook.
