Object Not Found--PHPMyAdmin

Postby apperrault » 01. August 2007 17:59

Hi all,
This is a great program here. I now have a portable Web server, MySQL DB and FTp server, all on my 4GB USB drive!!

I am having a problem though with XAMPP and MySQL. Everything is running fine, or at least appears to be. I am in the process of creating a DB to manage some of the servers i manage, and when I open PHPMyAdmin the first page comes up, but when i choose a Database to connect to, the left frame gives me the following message:
Code: Select all
 Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.
Error 404
localhost
08/01/07 09:55:00
Apache/2.2.4 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.4 OpenSSL/0.9.8e mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.2.3
.

I have tried searching through the forum and i can't find an answer. On a maybe related note, i notice when i install the Apache service, and start said service, i get a message that says:
Code: Select all
Installing Apache2.2 as an Service
Installing the Apache2.2 service
The Apache2.2 service is successfully installed.
Testing httpd.conf....
Errors reported here must be corrected before the service can be started.
Now we Start Apache2.2 :)
The Apache2.2 service is starting....
The Apache2.2 service was started successfully.

Press any key to continue . . .

I am not that familiar with Apache, this is actually the first time i have used it, so I am not really sure where to look for the errors.

Can someone help me please.

I can post my httpd.conf if that helps.

Thanks

This is xampp's 404 page telling you that .... the page is not there

Meaning something is up with your file structure
Is there a phpmyadmin/navigation.php in your USB setup?
