Mercury and Pegasus on localhost

Postby lfperry » 14. July 2007 02:33

I am a novice, so please be patient.

I have installed the most recent XAMPP software (xampp-win32-1.6.2).

phpadmin works, mysql works, and I have installed the open-realty software (php) in htdocs and it works.

Now I am trying to get Mercury and Pegasus working on a localhost with no internet connection. This is to set up a test environment for the Open-Realty software. I want the Open-Realty to send emails to admin@localhost.com, and use Pegasus to read the mail.

I can see that Mercury gets the mail, but Pegasus can not seem to read the mail. My AVG virus scanner scans something when I tell Pegasus to check for mail, but no mail arrives.

Can someone please help me figure out how to make this work using only Pegasus, Mercury, and the XAMPP environment?
