when i enter localhost it is just a blank page

you most likely have something else using port 80. maybe skype

i don't have skype and port 80 is free

have you tried visiting local host while apache is not running. if nothing loads look at the files in your htdocs dir and make suer they have content in them, next check that you have the right directory setting in your apache config file

im still don't understand, how do you change the port at which apeche uses, and if anyone can help my email is:rdarula@gmail.com
