Webalizer error

I have just recently upgraded to 1.6.2 and webalizer seems to have stopped working

It's a 403 access denied

Code: Select all
Access forbidden!
You don't have permission to access the requested directory. There is either no index document or the directory is read-protected.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

Error 403
localhost
06/12/07 12:16:50
Apache/2.2.4 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.4 OpenSSL/0.9.8e mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.2.2

Everything else looks fine, mysql, php etc all working ok and all security set so I'm not sure what to do. As far as I remember, it did work prior to the upgrade.

BTW even access /webalizer/webalizer.php directly gives the same error and the directory is not read protected.

thanks

Hmm... it seems AMPstart, a replacement for the XAMPP control panel, replaces apache's httpd.conf file.

I restored the original and sure enough, Webaliser was working again.

I have no idea what changes caused the issue but it looks like AMPstart may need to be avoided at the moment.
