not exactly the solution, but better:

Iv just followed these instructioins:

And they helped big time, now i can view a different site from my browser using (first website) etc.

Just follow the instructions exactly as is, took me about half an hour.

Just note:
When you come to editting httpd-vhosts.conf

Make this your first site
NameVirtualHost *:80
<VirtualHost *>

your second etc.

This also means you can put your site folders in any directory on your sytem.[/list]

Quicker solution

The other quicker solution is to edit your 'httpd-conf' file in /xampp/apache/conf/

so that your

DocumentRoot "E:/xampp/htdocs"
DocumentRoot "E:/xampp/test" instead

Note you'll also have to change
<Directory "E:/xampp/htdocs">
<Directory "E:/xampp/test">

Just edit the index.php file in

where it says header('Location: '.$uri.'/xampp/');

change '/xampp/' to '/test/'

That is the automatic redirect that is bouncing you from to in the first place
