Hey,

I can't remember root password. I have tried different methods changing it. I use resetroot.bat and config.inc.php to resetr it and it works fine but for ['controluser']. And I still can't logg in as ['user'] root.

Is there an effective solution for restoring phpadmin root password?
If no or it will not work for me, can I just easilly reinstall xampp?

hmm iteresting question, i would try reinstalling xampp... easiest way out if you tried all that
