Xampp acpache stops every 6 hours

sorry for my bad english

i have a huge problem
i have xampp on windows server 2003

but if apache running about 6 a 7 hours it would not responding
till i reboot my server

is this a bug ?

i have version 1.6.0a

please help

I can't help you with your problem, but maybe I can help you automatically restart apache until you solve your problem.

run services.msc
right click on the apache service, select properties
click over to the recovery tab

Under First, Second, Subsequent failures select "restart the service".

Now if the service crashes, it *should* automatically restart.

If that doesn't work you could have tthe computer to periodically run "net start apache2". If the service is already running, nothing will happen, if its shutdown it will start up.

If you know any programing language at all it should be no problem writing a program go to sleep for awhile then run "net start apache2".

Make that apache2.2 since you are running 1.6.0a.

Also check your apache and windows logs to see if there is any clue as to what is causing apache to shutdown.
