Extending apache to do serverside SVG generation with PHP

Postby 30blows » 18. March 2007 04:11

I am following some instructions at http://www.carto.net/papers/svg/samples ... _php.shtml to introduce a new file extension .psvg which will do serverside PHP processing prior to the result being embedded in another file (for example .shtml).

I have done:

a) edited the mime.type to read "image/svg+xml svg svgz psvg", adding the psvg extension.
b) edited the httpd-xampp.conf to read "AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php5 .php4 .php3 .phtml .psvg".

Restarted apache but am not getting any PHP processing going. Any suggestions would be most welcom.

Thank you.

I apologize. What is outlined above actually does work. A clumsy error bit me.
