Can not change file permission in FileZilla

HI, everyone. After I log in the FTP and trying to change the File Permission in my folder, It won't change. Plus, I didn't get any error or anything. Any ideas???

Then you should use a better ftp client.

With "in the FTP" you mean the "FileZilla FTP server"?
--> Windows doesn't have permissions with chmod. That's *nix stuff.

sorry i didn't make it clear.

I'm using local computer and connect to my server through FTP client and i want to change file attributes on some files in there but i won't be able to change. is it because i'm using window to run Xampp?? I'm sure linux would do it.

Yes it because your running on windows. You only need to set file permissions on *nix systems.
