C:\Program Files\xampp\apache\bin>apache -k install -n Apache2
Installing the Apache2 service
The Apache2 service is successfully installed.
Testing httpd.conf....
Errors reported here must be corrected before the service can be started.

That's what i get when i try to install apache2 as service. I try to fix the problem with apache that no page opens... There's something wrong with my config but tho i didnt touched anything except the Listen IP
Not even my localhost can load, neither do the aliases i try to set up.
There must be a solution right?
Using WinXP (32bit)

P.S. : Its odd that i have 2 apache.exe processes in the Task Manager.. could that be an issue?

I see no problem in the output.
--> Apache is now installed as service.

i ... touched ... the Listen IP

Why did you do that?

Not even my localhost can load,

Why not?
--> error message

neither do the aliases i try to set up.

Thus you have changed something? Remember:

That's normal. And if you have this two processes, your Apache is working. (You can verify this with "xampp-portcheck".
