I like the control panel and don't want to install the services as I move xampp between machines.

I can't find where to set parameters though. I'd like to set command line parameters for the mysqld launch.

Does the control center just launch one of the batch files I could modify.

I'd prefer to use the CP than launch things at the command line.

i just had a look at the Source-Code of the Control-Panel and it seems as if the Programs are started directly, not with usage of the bat-Files.

The only solution for you would be to download the Source-Code, insert your Options and build your own ControlPanel.
