How do i do it??

in most of the tutorials / books ive read on mysql they all say that you have to type in commands, but i cant find any way to do it in xampp, i can only see the phpmyadmin section, is it just the same only it types the commands in for you and you just select what you want your database to be like?

and how do i know where the databases ive created are located?

Ahhhhh thanks, do you know whereabouts the databases are located when they're saved?

They are located in /xampp/mysql/data
