I'm running XAMPP last version installed with the installer on a WIN xp machine.
I would like to install awstats but in order to do that I have to install ActivePerl.
What is better to do ? to install the perl addon for xampp or to install ActivePerl. If I install them both will it be ok ?

Much easier to just install the perl addon only.
BTW the perl addon contains active perl.
