php not working

hi,

so i ust installed xampp using the installer and everything seems to be working except that i cannot run php scripts. When i try to run them i get a box that pops up asking me to save, run, or cancel.

any ideas how to fix this??

You can't double click a PHP file. You must open it in a webbrowser with "http://...".
