XAMPP with lots of errors

Hi, I'm having lots of problems with the latest version of XAMPP. I start XAMPP Control Panel and start apache and mysql. So far no problems. But after an hour, 2 top, I have to reboot 'couse everything starts to get errors. And I mean everything... Messenger, Firefox, Explorer.exe... You name it...
And whem I open XAMPP Control Panel, I see an error text in Apache, Mysql, Mercury and FileZilla... But sometimes XAMPP Control Panel closes it self and the processes remain in background. By the way, one time I couldn't even look at the processes because thy didn't show up

I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2006, and XAMPP is running with all privileges. Also have Spyware Doctor 4 and PeerGuardian running in background. And I'm running Windows XP SP2 Pro with all the latest fixes.

Try looking in the Event Viewer in the Administrative Tools. It might hold some clues for you.
Administrative Tools can be found either in the Control Panel or from the Taskbar - start/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer.

I already looked at it, but didn't undertood a thing...

Looks like you have several issues with your software thats not related to XAMPP.
Try fixing those software issues referred to in the failure reports by maybe doing a Google or visiting the Microsoft link in the Application error report.
One such errors is with Spyware Doctor - swdoctor.exe

Software that looks like it requires attention from the above report is clearly indicated.

This post is not much help to you but it may be helpful for you to start looking in another direction other than XAMPP.

already isolated some apps to see if they were causing trouble, but the problem is still there

only messenger live test is missing. is there any report of conflict caused by styler, messenger, peer guardian, spyware doctor or any other app??

I would try turning off peer guardian, since that programs job is to block addresses it might be messing xampp up.

already tried it, but it still starts to mess things up

when i look at Xampp Control Panel, i only see errors... And my OS; it seems WinME (errors everywhere). but now when i look at event viwer i don't see any errors. strange...

i forgot to say, i used tuneup utilities to "improve" my lan speed. don't know if it screws up things or not, but i can't revert it 'couse i made it a month ago and the backup is gone. and i've used tuneup utilities registry cleaner!

I think i finally discovered the problem, or part of it... I was running XAMPP and I remember to start spyware doctor. Suddenly, errors everywhere... It seemed an error rain.

Now i got to check if I'll get any errors without running spyware doctor.
I'll keep you informed, 'couse this probably will help others with the same issues I'm having.

If you hibernate your computer and start it again, your windows is slow down.

you were rightm it's a XAMPP Control Panel Bug... I'm running xampp through the bat files for 3 hours and its working fine and my computer is not terribly slow!
