Testing webpages written in PHP

I'm new to programming.

Is there a way to test webpages written in .PHP using xampp?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just put the page to be tested in the xampp\htdocs directory and call it by using:
http://localhost/yourtestphpfile.php
