What? you ask. That's impossible!

well, it is.

my ip adress typed into a browser does not return ANYTHING, while typing in localhost returns everything perfectly flowery.

Soooo

Any advice on what could cause my apache to go on the fritz? i uninstalled and reinstalled xampp and still no luck!

Errr wut?

there were multiple "portcheck.exe's"

and 2 of them showed all "free"

BUT 1 OF THEM SHOWED:

Code: Select all
[Ports]
Port80=BLOCKED
Port443=BLOCKED
Port3306=BLOCKED
Port21=FREE
Port14147=FREE
Port8080=FREE

LOL THATS NOT GOOD.

but I unblocked these ports along time ago! what could cause them to go blocked again?

note, windows firewall has ports 80 and 80 opened via exception (Thats how I got it working a few months ago...()

So, changed Listen 80 to Listen 4000
