xampp- java

Anybody using xampp-->java, tomcat, mysql
My xampp version is ApacheFriends XAMPP (basic package) version 1.5.0-pl1
and it require JDK 1.5
Recently my server is very weird, in task manager, when the java.exe , CPU usage is 25, then the tomcat hang. I must kill the process from task manager because the tomcat shutdown.bat unable to stop the java.exe service.
ANy idea? anybody face this issue ?
Your help is appreciated, please guide me if i provide not enough information.
