Well, maybe I'm supposed to exit the control panel after using it to start my services but I noticed that when the control panel is running in the the system tray "the right hand icons on my task bar" it makes my screen saver act jerky or choppy and even effects games I play.
Now, I fixed this by exiting the control panel after starting my services and everything still runs ok and when I need it I just use a shortcut to restart the control panel.
Just wanted to add this info in case anyone else is having a problem and cant find the source...
