mysql_connect: Can't connect to MySQL server on localhost

server mysql works but
it is necessary to reload a server

how to resolve this problem ?

You can't reload the MySQL server if it already running.

You have to make sure it is stopped running first then you will be able to start it again as and when required.

How are you trying to connect and what script or program are you trying to connect with?

Did you configure your script correctly?

Have you checked the database for errors that you are trying to connect to, using phpMyAdmin?
