Just downloaded XAMPP Lite...

Hello

Just downloaded XAMPP Lite on to a WinXP computer. Ran the setup_xampp batch file by double-clicking (tried to run it by launching as a batch file within DOS - didn't work). It launched a Winzip extractor and extracted some files into an apache folder. I'm stuck. Don't know what i should be doing

GOAL: I'm trying to install PhP and APACHE locally onto my computer and learn PHP as I don't have a website .

Any suggetions on what I need to do to get this to work?

Did you read the readme-en.txt file in the directory you unpacked the ApacheFriends XAMPP Lite version 1.5.4a archive to?

Is there something in the readme file you don't understand?

Please paste here any errors you are receiving when running any *.bat file.
