Two instances of php.ini file...

Installed xampp-win32-1.5 3a-installer. I have TWO php.ini files. Which one is used?

One resides in 'C:/Program Files/xampp/apache/bin'
One in 'C:/Program Files/xampp/php'
And another in 'C:/Program Files/xampp/php/php4'

Huh? This is from a default install of Xampp


I have to configure my php.ini file to work with windows, which file?

Also noticed FOUR instances of the libmysql.dll:
One is in 'C:/Program Files/xampp/apache/bin'
One is in 'C:/Program Files/xampp/mysql/bin'
One is in 'C:/Program Files/xampp/php'
and finally One is in 'C:/Program Files/xampp/php/php4'

Do they give you any problems having 4 copies of the same file?

Check your Windows directories and all your program file directories and post back all the duplicated files you find. I don't know if there would be enough space on the forums.

Im going to make sure that the .dll file is in the windows system 32 directory. Cant see any problems there. Although - why on earth does xampp load so many different files in different locations. They're the same file.
