when i try to open my xampp http://cybercon.ws/xampp/index.php i get this on a white page The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script. How can i fix this problem

When ever you get a server error 500 always check your:
xampp/apache/logs/error.log
It will give you more of a clue as to what is wrong.

http://cybercon.ws/ is working now for me.

Drag the C:/xampp/xampp/htdocs/xampp/.htaccess file into your fav. text editor and change that line to:

AuthUserFile "C:\xampp\xampp\security\xampp.users"

Click on Save and you should be OK again.

Numb, that was a perfect Topic. Thanks and well done! :D

Your topic title was spot on.
Your error report was spot on.
Your error message paste was exactly what was needed.
The response to your question was effective and produced the result you wanted.

That's the correct way to get things done quickly on these forums.
