moodle (eLearning) and XAMPP on a production server

Problems with the Windows version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

Is XAMPP a good option to run in a Windows production environment?

moodle (eLearning) and XAMPP on a production server

Postby bobhope » 03. September 2006 13:41

I am considering installing moodle (eLEarning management system from moodle.org) on a Windows production server using XAMPP.

Can anyone give me advice about using XAMPP on a production server? I understand that XAMPP is ideal for localhost type testing and development. But I'm interested in advice and or 'lessons learned' about XAMPP in a production environment.

Thanks in advance for any comments!

Best regards
