Newbie - Where is info to install on remote hosted webserver

I have hosted web space and would like to use it. Do I load XAMPP directly to the web folder?

If your paying for a dedicated server (Windows Server) then you will need to do a remote desktop connection to it (not ftp) and either run the installer or zip version.

If you just paying for standard hosting then you will not be able to use XAMPP on it.

Dedicated Servers usually runs $99+ a month.
Standard Hosting usually runs 2.99+ a month
