Greetings, just wondering how i could get tar and untar and zip support working in XAMMP? i not sure what to do, so this would be the place to ask (meaning in php/apache i need this support)

Can you post your error messages?

no error message at all, it just does nothing to the file... what i doing is, untarring it, then once it does that delete it, but i look in the html folder and its not even untarring it, i'm using the default install of xampp

Can you give more details of what you are doing.
Paste the code you are using etc.
Give as much detail as you can even if you think it is irrelavant.
Clues, clues and more clues help enormously.

Not absolutely sure on this one but you may need a class file.

looking into the install dir of xampp for windoze, there is no tar or untar .exe's at all, so that is why its not working... any suggestions of putting it into xampp for windoze?
