Hiding console window without installing as a service.
Posted: 10. August 2006 20:38Is there any way to have the xampp_start.exe either not display its actions in the console or immediately hide once the server is running?
We are running the start and stop of the server through a Flash projector and would like to have the window hidden so that the onlyvisible option the user has is the kill button we give them. Hopefully this setup will prevent users just closing the window out of annoyance.
PS. This is running from a USB stick and unless xampp_stop will uninstall them I do not want to install apache and mysql as services.
