Warning: mail(): Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini


I correct it, use SMTP = smtp.mail.yahoo.com.

there are two php.ini files. one is at c:\windows\php.ini

another one at xampp folder.

but i think I didnt get the right php.ini file. still get the error message. which php.ini I should change, where it located?

By default XAMPP uses the php.ini file in this directory:
xampp/apache/bin/php.ini
