XAMPP & php_xdebug

Postby ptr » 10. July 2006 23:47

Hi,
Sorry I don't speak German, hope you'll be able to help me.

I've installed latest XAMPP Windows 1.5.3a
I need to use php_xdebug.
I've copied php_xdebug-5.1.2-2.0.0beta6.dll (from www.xdebug.org) into the C:\Program Files\xampp\xampp\php directory and modified php.ini file (in C:\Program Files\xampp\xampp\apache\bin directory)
bottom of the php.ini:

[Zend]
;zend_extension_ts = "C:\Program Files\xampp\xampp\php\zendOptimizer\lib\ZendExtensionManager.dll"
;zend_extension_manager.optimizer_ts = "C:\Program Files\xampp\xampp\php\zendOptimizer\lib\Optimizer"
zend_extension_ts = "C:\Program Files\xampp\xampp\php\php_xdebug-5.1.2-2.0.0beta6.dll"
zend_optimizer.enable_loader = 0
zend_optimizer.optimization_level=15
;zend_optimizer.license_path =
; Local Variables:
; tab-width: 4
; End:

The problem is that Apache is constantly crashing. It works ok with xdebug disabled.
I've also tried php_xdebug.dll that comes with XAMPP Windows 1.5.3a, but with the same result.
I've also tried previous versions of XAMPP and relevant versions of php_xdebug - all not working.

I'm running a fresh installation of Windows 2000 SP4.

Can anyone help?
Thanx
Peter
