Server 500 error - can't find password file
Posted: 30. June 2006 02:59I have xampp running on two machines, both working fine... except.
On one machine when I enter 'localhost' in my browser it puts up a password dialog, and then fails with:
[Fri Jun 30 11:34:47 2006] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] (OS 2)The system cannot find the file specified. : Could not open password file: C:/Program Files/xampp/security/xampp.users
The file doesn't exist on either machine, but only one machine asks for a password. Why is it doing this?
Other than this, it works fine. My php applications run fine, mySql is working etc.
