Grammatical/Spelling Error

Postby TN563 » 28. June 2006 12:40

Hello,

I'd like to point out some grammar/spelling that needs a bit of fixing. In the current version, on my Windows platform (not sure if it is in the other platforms or not, probably is), I have noticed a grammar/spelling error in http://localhost/security/xamppsecurity.php.

Under the XAMPP Directory Protection section, after you enter a username and password, the following is displayed:
SUCCESS: The XAMPP directory is protected now! All personal data was safed in the following file:
C:\Program Files\xampp\security\xampp.users
C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\xampp\.htaccess

It should read: SUCCESS: The XAMPP directory is protected now! All personal data was saved in the following file.....

I don't know if this was a translation error or what, but it should be fixed since "safed" isn't a word..

But to be honest does it really matter?

Once it is installed and localhost works you never see it again.

I think the XAMPP team have done a fantastic job.
