Flash items remaining.... problem with server

I'm running an intranet webpage with xampp server, and in this page I used several flash files, at first everything worked fine but, I don´t know at what moment, suddenly when you open the main page it takes a lot of time to finish loading the page... If there are 5 flash items, it shows in the status bar (5 items remaining)
I don't think that are the flash files because I used the page for 2 months without problems, so I think is something to do with the server... Also I have had more traffic in the last months, maibe it has something to do with that?
