Apache Just Stops Responding

I have recently upgarade to XAMPP 1.5.2 by unzipping the new files over the existing ones and updating my httpd.conf.

However now Apache stops responding after awhile. Does not accept any incoming connections on port 80. Restarting the service makes it work again but it will just stop responding after some time. The logs do not show anything in between.

I'm running Win 2000 Server and have Zonealarm installed. Could Zonealarm cause Apache to behave such a way?
