Can't see localhost page after installation...
Posted: 08. May 2006 20:58Hi, I have been struggling with installation of apache and php etc. And after trying easyphp which wasn't that easy. I came to this.
But now the problem. When the services are started I try to connect to http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1 But opening this with firefox or IE keeps the browser loading but not showing anything. When I stop the apache service the browsers say directly that they can't connect to the page.
My router has been set properly (port 80 and even 443 are forwarded). But why won't it work?
Btw I run Windows XP PRO SP2 firewall disabled.
