How to update PHP 4.4.1 to 4.4.x?
Posted: 24. April 2006 00:06The current version of XAMPP has PHP vers 4.4.1 installed, and this version has under some circumstances problems with the mod_rewrite module in Apache.
As I am going to use an Open Source CMS, I am not able to use PHP 5.1.
I have found different stable versions of PHP, where the mod_rewrite problem is solved http://snaps.php.net, but havn't got the tiniest idea how to update PHP.
Even though I read the manual for the snapshot, it didn't get much better.
Im running XP, and used the win32 installer vers of XAMPP.
Does anyone outthere know how to make this happen?
