Apache Error status 3221225725

Installed latest XAMPP to test several CMS offerings. Getting apache shutdowns with the following:

Parent: child process exited with status 3221225725 -- Restarting.

Searches on this site are limited to English for me, but I have seen a message or two, but they appear to be a few years old. Same with Google searches. Sounds like a stack overflow error.

I have experienced this error with my demo versions of e107 and Typo3, especially Typo3. Any ideas to overcome this error?

HELP!!!! Still getting this error, and have no idea where to begin. Anyone?
