MySql 5 Strict mode

Postby nomi » 17. March 2006 01:43

Hello! I have installed Joomla on my local machine and it's been having a lot of problems. They say it's because Joomla doesn't run well with MySql 5 with strict mode on. First of all, I'm not sure if the newest version of xampp has this on or not, but I'd like to turn it off if it does. I can't find the my.ini file. Is there another way to do that?

Thank you!

AKAIK no. Try a:
Code: Select all
SHOW VARIABLES LIKE 'sql_mode';

For more informations you can read:
