help php smtp error

Does anyone knows what i can do about some errors like this:

Warning: mail(): SMTP server response: 501 Error parsing sender address: "MatchPoint" <admin@lanz4all-hosting.nl>: Did not find @ between local-part and domain at position 13 in

When changing the script and removing the fields "MatchPoint" and removing the <> betweem the mail address it sames to work for 50% of the time, the other 50% of the time it generates timeout errors.

Also i tried running it on another webserver, from that moment i could host it with original php files and don't have to modify the <>.

Does anyone knows a sollution or perhaps can tell me what i am doing wrong like option errors within the xampp ini files?
