How to configure osCommerce?

Hi there, I am new user of XAMPP and want to set up osCommerce on my local machine. Is it possible to configure osCommerce on a local machine using XAMPP? If yes then how to do so and where to put my osCommerce files and how to configure it?

You will need to enable Register_Globals in your php.ini file, and you have to options to install OsCommerce, in your htdocs folder, and in a VirtualHost.
