Uninstall problem

I installed Xampp using Windows installer then managed to delete the Xampp directory.
Now when I try to re-install Xampp nothing will start from the control panel, I get a message saying Busy ERROR apache(etc) not started.
Can someone please tell me how to sort out this problem?
