SSI Server Side Includes help please

I would like to activate the SSI (server side includes). What do I need to change in the httpd.conf File to enable this ability for my **.html documents.

My hosting site runs on apache and the administrator has enabled SSI for me. I use SSI’s on my site and I will need it to work in the XAMPP setup in order to test changes I wish to make. The .htaccess in the root folder of my website has the following and works with the SSI:

order allow,deny
deny from all
</Files>
AddType text/html .html
AddHandler server-parsed .htm
ErrorDocument 404 /error/badlink.htm
