Apache Friends Support Forum

I was using WAMPP2 for a while now and decided I wanted to upgrade. So I downloaded the latest version of XAMPP and Apache runs soooo slow compared to the Apache that came with WAMPP2. I tried uncommenting Win32DisableAcceptEx since I'm using XP Home but that doesn't make a difference. Does anyone have any ideas how to speed up the version of Apache that comes with XAMPP.

I installed XAMPP using the zip file (since I unzipped it on my iPod so I can use it on many different computers). I didn't run the setup_xampp.bat file since I figured the iPod was close enough to a memory card.
